April 1999 betraten zwei Sch\u00fcler die Columbine High School, zogen ihre Waffen und t\u00f6teten 12 Sch\u00fcler, einen Lehrer und sich selbst. 24 weitere Sch\u00fcler wurden verletzt. Der Dokumentarfilmer Michael Moore nahm dieses tragische Ereignis als Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr seine bahnbrechende Dokumentation \u00fcber die Waffenlobby der USA.<\/p>\n<p>In Bowling for Columbine kritisiert er konkret die lockeren Waffengesetze der USA und stellt die NRA (National Rifle Association) an den Pranger. Unheimlich provokativ und ohne R\u00fccksicht auf Verluste stellt Bowling for Columbine die Frage: \u201cSind wir verr\u00fcckt nach Waffen \u2013 oder sind wir nur verr\u00fcckt?\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Hintergrund &amp; Infos zu Bowling for Columbine<\/h3>\n<p>Mit Bowling for Columbine gelang Michael Moore nicht nur sein internationaler Durchbruch als Dokumentarfilmer, sondern er lenkte auch die Aufmerksamkeit der \u00d6ffentlichkeit auf den amerikanischen Waffenhandel und die Waffengesetze. F\u00fcr seinen Mut sich derart lautstark Geh\u00f6r zu verschaffen wurde Bowling for Columbine mit einer ganzen Reihe von Preisen ausgezeichnet \u2013 darunter auch ein Oscar f\u00fcr den besten Dokumentarfilm.
